Currently I only offer basic jewelry making workshop. I plan to include intermediate and advance in future.

Jewelry Making 101

This is a workshop for beginners. It is specially designed for anyone who has no prior experience in jewelry making, for those who would like to pick up a new skill or a new hobby.  It is separated into 2 sections, all done in half a day.

Some ladies have made this into a girlie gathering, a hens' party, a birthday gift and even a wedding gift to the bride-to-be. Some couples have turned it into a fun, relationship-building time. Of course, some guys can consider it to be a bachelor party too {wink}. It is a time to have fun and enjoy learning new things.

1st Section
This section normally takes 2 hour. It is used to introduce the tools, materials and basic jewelry-making techniques. The jewelry-making tools and materials are provided in this session. I'll demo and the students will follow. Lots of tips and personal experience will be shared to help participants pick up the new skill easily.

2nd Section
The second section is where the fun begins! Participants get to practise their newly learned techniques. Students can choose their own materials from a great selection of beads, gemstones and fresh water pearls to create their own designed piece.

This section will normally take 1 to 2 hour depending on how fast each person progresses. This is the time where participants start to put the techniques into practice. I'm not too rigid with my timing here. Remember, it's fun time!

Fees
EUR 18 per person for the 1st session. The second session charges depend on what materials the students choose, the amount varies. Whatever the amount is, participants will receive a 5% discount for all the materials that they have chosen.

I conduct my workshop on Saturday afternoon starting at 1pm. Please feel free to drop me an email with a date and time in mind and we can take it from there.

Den Haag, The Netherlands. 

What do you get after this?
At the end of the whole workshop,

• You will have learned the basic knowledge and techniques of jewelry-making hence enable you to create your own pieces in future,
• A piece or more self-made jewelry item (some participants create more than 1 piece of jewelry),
• Notes of the 1st section will be provided for students to bring back home.

Other Details

• Coffee/tea and cookies are served during the workshop.
• Min participant is 2 person, max 5. I enjoy smaller group because I would like to give personal attention to every participant.
• Classes are conducted in English. I can conduct the workshop in Mandarin or English-Mandarin as well if you prefer.
• Participants who have attended the workshop will enjoy a 5% discount privilege purchasing materials with Estherly after this (no expiry date to this privilege).

Do I conduct the workshop at other places?
Yes I do. I can travel to your place to conduct this workshop, within The Netherlands of course. Please let me know and I will calculate the transportation cost and let you know. All the transportation fees are at charge.
